Description
Blend between Frappato and Nero d'Avola, Ruby red wine, with garnet reflections, floral and fruity aromas: notes of pomegranate and red fruits. Fresh in the mouth, moderately tannic, balanced.
50% Nero d'Avola - 50% Frappato aging in steel.
The wine with the red rose: in 1984 a statistical research gave the woman the task of choosing the table wine, the rose was our homage to the woman who chose our Cerasuolo di Vittoria. The red rose is the symbol of the elegance, of the softness of the Frappato on the deep and full structure of the Nero d'Avola.

- Soil: Loam, red soil.
- Production area: Bastonaca e Mortilla.

- Vinification process: Maceration in the presence of marc.
- Fermentation: 12 months thermo-regulated.
- Conservation: Bbottle laid down in a controlled temperature environment 15°c to 16°c.
- Serving temp: 18-20°c

About this company
Avide Vigneti & Cantine, was born, more than a century ago, from the family's secondary activity to cultivate grapes and olives. In 1970 the professional activity of the winery was started, processing its own grapes. Many projects and many types of wines - Sparkling, Red, and White - have led in the past decades to obtain recognition all over the world. We are in the south-east part of Sicily and here we cultivate our grapes with passion. Frappato (also Metodo Classico), Nero d'Avola, Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Insolia and Grillo are our main productions. We also have a small selection of Tonda Iblea olives with which we produce our precious Barocco Ibleo Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
