Tasting notes :

Beautiful garnet color.

Nose of ripe small black fruits, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry, and subtle toasted hazelnut notes.

Lovely fruity flavor, fresh. Soft, harmonious tannins.

Winemaking :

Classic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks (18-28°C). Part of the wine is aged in wood, while the rest is aged in concrete tanks.

Accompaniment advices :

Duck Breast, Roast Beef, and Cheeses.

Grapes varieties :

Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon et Cabernet Franc.

Terroir:

Eastern edge of Bordeaux. It covers 17 hectares of silty sandy soils on the banks of the Dordogne River, in a place called Caville. This sun-drenched plain vineyard produces wines that are particularly rich and fruity.
